Luis Garcia is a New York City based photographer. As a child growing up in a vibrant community of immigrants in Washington Heights, he was immersed in a strong tradition of community spirit set against an urban backdrop. This dynamic upbringing has influenced him to stay just as engaged in the creative process of his peers as he is in his own photography. He spends his time as both an artist and mentor.
